The best way to enjoy Siem Reap is to make sure you have a comfortable and relaxing place to call home for a few nights after busy days of visiting the beautiful temples. This hotel definitely helped make one of our most memorable holidays happen for my family and I during our 4 night stay.
For starters, the staff working at this hotel are simply splendid, you always feel welcome and they go the extra mile to show that they care. Their warm smiles seem to match the signature smiles at Bayon temple, which is what you need after a hot and busy day of sight seeing! We were surprisingly impressed with their initiative towards the environment when we were asked to join the staff's Environmental and Community
Service Team in planting 200 trees around Siem Reap for a day. The hotel staff members (More than 40!) and my family of 3 all hopped on bikes for a 15km ride through the countryside to help plant trees in designated areas, it was such a special, fun and fulfilling opportunity for us- something that we kindly thank those working at Sokha Hotel (our new friends!) for. We'll never forget that experience.
After waking up in comfortable beds each morning, the buffet breakfast (a nice variety of Asian and Western food) ensured that we were set and ready to go for busy days of sightseeing. The presentation of our room and the overall aesthetics of the hotel were very beautiful, the Angkor inspired interiors seemed to complement the beauty of the temples and fitted very well in the environment. The salt water swimming pool and the spa / sauna were extreme delights, a definite highlight when we needed a quiet place to relax after exploring the temples.
A truly lovely place to stay, the best hotel experience we've had. My family and I definitely recommend Sokha Hotel to all fellow readers looking to venture to Siem Reap!
As an expat resident of Cambodia I get to Siem Reap pretty ofte. I have stayed at many hotels there. I can confirm that Sokha is one of the best. They have great rooms, a good gym and pool area, helpful staff, a full breakfast buffet and a great location - you can walk into town in 10 minutes.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. My room was a club suite.(It was free upgrade service by a travel agent.) The room was very large and comfortable. Every restaurants I used were nice. Moreover, the hotel's staffs were very kind, and hospitable. They always had warm smiles. Some staffs taught me some Khmer greeting words. I could really enjoy my stay. It was very fun! I wish I can go back again. I really hope so.

This hotel is perfectly located for visiting Siem Reap and all its temples. Temples are close by and best of all it's 10/15 minutes walk to the night market. After a day's visit to the temple, it's an easy stroll to the main street for dinner and visit the market. We've got a 2 bedroom suite, extremely spacious and very good value for money. Staffs are very friendly and efficient. It's not the most luxurious place but it serves its purpose perfectly considering people are mainly coming here to visit all the temples.

Lovely interior with some unique architectural features that give you a taste of the local culture and history. The staff were all extremely pleasant to deal with. They set me up with an excellent tour guide which i really appreciated. The spa was not as "plush" as some I have been too, but the service was fantastic and i enjoyed the experience. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely go back.
Fabulous hotel! The grounds and pool were fantastic and the staff was super friendly! Loved the food! Also the spa and massage area was great and very reasonable. Overall a 5 out of 5!
