Hotel Reviews
“Strong 5 star hotel”
My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in Nov. We used Siem Riep as a base for exploring the temples around the area. We really liked this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a 5 star hotel.
Below are some of the best things about this hotel:
1) The breakfast is amazing – the selection is super. Everything you would expect in great 5 start hotel. We had been staying in budget hotels up until this point, so the breakfast here was really appreciated.
2) The leisure facilities. The swimming pool is in the centre of the hotel. It’s really clean, but they don’t use too much chlorine. The hotel has a great gym with a seperate cardio and weights room – both really well
equiped.
3) Our bedroom was a great size and had a really well appointed bathroom with seperate shower.
4) The hotel is really well maintained – the breakfast tables are cleaned as soon as the tables empty, the public areas e.g. toilets, reception and corridors are spotless etc.
5) The check-in process is super efficient and friendly. When we went to check-in we were shown to a really comfortable sofa where we sat for a short time until the receptionist arrived to check us in. We were given a complimentary drink and hand towels before being brought to our room.
6) The hotel is well located – it’s near the town centre and about a 15 minute walk to the market. I really loved the location as it was neither too central/noisy or too remote.
The only downsides were
1) The WiFi in the bedroom is poor. It’s unusable during the day – this might be a problem if you were there on business. We had to go the reception in order to connect.
2) We felt that the door staff were ‘Over The Top’. Every time we went out there were questions re where we were going, what we were doing later that day/tomorrow etc. We felt that they were trying to find this information in order to sell us tours, book restaurants etc. and so get a commission. It became a bit tiresome as the stay progressed.
“Clean, nice hotel”
I would stay here again. This hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast items rotate and I preferred one day's options better than the other day's, but it was perfectly fine. Room is a good size and well-appointed. Beautiful lobby
“Good base in Siem Reap”
My husband and I spent 5 nights here during our honeymoon and we're pleasantly surprised.
My husband surprised my by organising the limo for our airport transfer and it was ultra-modern and we'll decked out, we were even given a bottle of champagne! After that the service was flawless, they took us straight the the duty manager to sit while we checked in and enjoyed our welcome drinks. When we checked in the had us in a beautiful room with flower petals in the bath and rose petals on the bed, it was really lovely.
The staff were super friendly, my one complaint being that it was often a bit hard to get their attention to order food/drinks around the beautiful pool.
It's a short tok tok ride
to pub Street and easy to get to the temples and the concierge was always happy to help you explain to the driver where you wanted to go.
Overall I'd recommend staying here!
“Excellent hotel and staff”
Very high quality hotel that I stayed for 4 nights whilst visiting the temples. The rooms are very spacious with a good sized bathroom, air conditioning, wifi and twice daily housekeeping service. The staff are excellent and I used them each day to organise my trips to the temples. The hotel has both cars and tuk tuk drivers that can be hired. For one full day the cost was $15 to be driven around to the various temples. As I had a late flight the staff even allowed me to use their spa facilities to shower and change well after I had checked out. Things like this make a big difference to the overall experience. Buffet breakfast was good with plenty of choice and starts at 6am which is just in time for those returning from going
to Angkor wat for the sunrise. Would highly recommend the hotel
“Very good but...”
-Very good breakfast buffet with plenty of pastries.
More ⇓-Impressive reception area.
-Friendly staff.
-Nice well maintained garden and pool with waterfall.
-The hotel is in good location.
-I was given a dirty and neglected room. The toilet and shower gave me the impression that the room wasn't occupied for quite some time. Inside the toilet bowl there was a circle of a yellow stain sign that the water wasn't flushed for quite some time. Shower's glass doors had also watermarks and the part of the glass near the tiles had become untransparent! I complained and little difference was made.
Next day as i returned to my room late in the evening there were still stains on the sink's bank from the morning's
