Had a great stay at the Sokha. Check in was very good, and the rooms are nice and a good size. The best thing about this hotel is the pool, great for just chilling having a drink and lounging around. Thone the pool guy was brilliant, and went the full mile to make sure you was well stocked with drinks and food, and even replaced our towels 1/2 way though the day. The location is ideal as your quite close to everything, pub street and night market are within walking distance or a $2 tot tot ride. Breakfast was good, we never went until 10.00 so was always nice and quite, with a good selection. Make sure you check out the spa, I never realised they had one until I was about to leave, and used
there showers to get ready. We had a really enjoyed stay, and would definitely recommend.
I fell in love with Siem Riep-take me back. Location for the Sokha Angkor Resort can't be beat. It's located within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and the Night Market if you're up to it. Because of the rain, we opted for a tuk tuk as many were readily available. The staff was super courteous & efficient.

From the moment we arrived, with airport pickup and cool towels and refreshing drinks at reception, we had a wonderful 4 night stay. All the staff - reception, cafe, restaurant, concierge, pool / garden, room, and business centre staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming, and more than happy to respond to any queries or needs. Particular mention to concierge, Mr Ha, who was very friendly, welcoming, well informed and quick to respond. His advice about alternative itineraries was also very welcome. Driver / bellman Songhsam was also a pleasure to have as our driver for three days and to/from the airport. He was always courteous, helpful, and with limited English was happy to share details of his own life and family, which
was very engaging. The facilities are wonderful - the 25m saltwater pool was very welcome and refreshing after long days of temple-touring. Our guide for 3 days, You Tra, was also great! He was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited, and often took us to particular spots to get the best photo shot. In fact he often took the photos for us! He is a whizz with panorama photos! He also took us to some interesting local eateries for lunch, which we enjoyed. Overall a truly memorable, enjoyable and highly recommended place to stay. 5+/5 for Service, Value, Cleanliness!
