Hotel Reviews
“This is it”
Nice place to stay, close to the temples and in corner with Main Street, a 2-3 dollar away from the pub street and the night market by tuk tuk.
Excellent and assorted breakfast, the staff was very nice always ahead of our needs.
The best though is the pool by all means!!
“AMAZING HOTEL!”
I have a very high standard for hotels and this was one of the best. Staff were helpful, friendly, pool is amazing. Location great. Food great.
One tip is don't book your temple tour through hotel or operators. Just hire a tuk tuk for the day for $15. A quarter of the price!
“Beautiful hotel, great location”
Stayed here for 4 nights in April with my partner. This hotel was excellent and very luxurious, the decor throughout is very opulent, traditional rather than contemporary, which is my preference, but there is no denying this is a beautiful hotel.
We had a room on the third floor overlooking the pool which was lovely. Huge room, enourmous bed and big walk in shower in addition to a bath. Complimentary water provided daily and the room has a great selection of toilettries etc. The hotel is set back from the road and we did not experience any noise.
We ate breakfast here each day which was very good, had a good selection of all different types of food and the service was excellent, as
it was throughout the hotel. We also ate lunch here most days and one evening meal. The food was fantastic and the menus varied. There are a number of restaurants to choose from including japanese plus a bar/cafe with amazing cakes. An Irish pub was also advertised although we couldn't find it! All dining was very formal though and it would have been good to have been able to just grab more of a snack by the pool.
The pool area was lovely although I think it could benefit from more sunbeds. Whilst we never had a problem getting two beds, as I understand it we were not there at the busiest time of year for tourism and so I could imagine there may be times when getting a sunbed could be difficult. Also, twice whilst we were there there was a dinner around the pool in the evening for which prepartion began in the morning and this meant that much of the room for sunbeds was out of bounds. The actual set up didn't seem to take that long and could probably have been delayed until late afternoon.
The hotel is in a good location, pretty much in the centre of siep reap so easy to walk in (around 15 mins to the main pub street and night markets, although taking a tuc tuc is much more fun!) but far enough out that it feels peaceful.
We used the spa here which was very good, with jacuzzi, sauna and steam plus great range of treatments. Also foot massages available in reception!
Overall a great hotel and we would definitely stay here again.
Room Tip: pool view is worth getting as lovely pool and traditional show every few nights which you can watch...
“BIGGEST BED EVER”
Stayed here on a trip to Angkor Wat. Well appointed hotel with great lobby area. Check-in was efficient. Room was very large and had the biggest bed I have ever slept in - I am 191cm (76 inches) so I like a large bed - this was heaven for me and may have biased my review. Bathroom was also big with all the usual stuff. Wi-Fi was free. Room had a nice view inwards to the pool area which I prefer to looking at the chaos of the streets (outwards). The pool area was terrific - I did not have the time to use the pool but the party I was with had a special dinner at the pool with a private show of local young dancers - absolutely knockout night - even if it was 37 degrees (100F).
Breakfast was buffet with omelettes made
to order. This was a great buffet that catered for all nationalities - Japanese, European, Chinese, locals and other Westerners. Great value.
“Ticks all the boxes of a 5 Star Hotel”
This is my second stay after more then a month. I enjoyed both times the luxurious decorated Rooms. This Hotel deserves its rating but can improve on Breakfast (no Cheese offered, no fresh pressed orange juices etc...)
Thank you
