Job Title: Asst. Executive Housekeeper

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Bachelor degree or in related field, is preferable
At least 4 years’ experience in Housekeeping in a 4 or 5 stars hotel
Team management
Proven Supervisory abilities
Strong Customer Relations skills
Good oral communication skills, both verbal and written, for purposes of creating and using reports to Executive Housekeeper
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Good organizational and administrative skills
Must have full knowledge of hotel’s procedures.
Superior time management and relationship building
Strong organization and follow-through skills
Able to work under pressure
Good computer knowledge such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Is committed is to provide and create a healthy, friendly and natural service by “Caring without compromise”.
Directs the Housekeeping department and utility services of all hotel guest rooms and public Areas
Contributes to the overall cleanliness of the hotel by maintaining organized and efficient Housekeeping and Laundry operation;
Maintains accountability for the cost, utilization and performance of Team Member’s and equipment.
Issues all supplies and equipment for cleaning of guest rooms and other areas in accordance with policy and procedures.
Maintains a 3 par inventory of linens
Maintains control of the lost and found log and reviews log with the Executive Housekeeper Manager on a monthly basis.
Maintains any other records as necessary to control the department
Scheduling and planning of all manpower needs, equipment and supply requirements for department
Maintains controls of Team Member’s uniforms and name tags, ensuring that they are in proper condition, worn at all times and readily available.
Conducts effective Team Member’s meeting and counseling sessions.
