Hotel Reviews
Great place to stay and close to Angkor Wat
We spent 5 nights here on a family visit to Angkor Wat. The rooms were clean and spacious and we enjoyed using the pool. Breakfast was also great.
Sam Bon and his colleague Loem Chivleang were very helpful during our stay, as were all the hotel staff we interacted with, who were friendly and efficient.
The hotel is around 20 minutes away from Angkor Wat by tuk-tuk or taxi, so it's convenient for tours.
The gym facilities seemed like they had been mothballed during Covid and probably need refurbishing.
Overall though, it was a great place to stay.
Cambodia Tourism HOTEL
I stayed at Sokha Siem Reap Resort and Convention Center from March 11th to 14th. The room was spacious, well-cleaned, and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and other areas, which I was worried about. The shower room and bathtub were separate, which was very nice.
The staff were all kind, and the front desk staff in particular left kind messages for me, which became a wonderful memory of my trip. If I go to Siem Reap in the future, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Great for vacation and events
Great venue to conduct your events, easy to negotiate, staff were helpful and superb with your needs! Ready and willing to help. Guest rooms and food also great. The rooms are so huge, the food got variety everyday.
Highly recommended! Be back!
Comfortable and Peaceful Retreat
A lovely old
A lovely old hotel with gracious and charming staff who all speak very good English. Special mention to Soly and Peanna, but all the staff were fabulous.
The hotel is vast and with a massive reception area that includes two swings, set admits wonderful art pieces.
Our room was some way from reception but we were rewarded with a view of the largest pool lin Siem Reap and certainly the largest I have ever seen.
The room was very big with a super king size bed that was very comfortable. The bathroom had bath and separate shower and a wonderful wooden basin which I wanted to take home! The room had a safe, fridge and good supply of tea and coffee. It wanted for nothing!
/>The air conditioning was great and fully controllable allowing us to sleep well.
Breakfast was the usual international buffet that you would find in any top end resort with fruits yoghurt an egg station, pancakes, waffles, great bacon and all the trimmings
Sadly the spa has not reopened. The pool however was haven of peace after the daily temple tours.
The hotel has suffered from the pandemic and in need of a little TLC to walls and carpets Most furniture is hard wood so still in great shape and it looks great.
iIt is situated a little out of town but the grab app works really well and Tuk Tuk and cars are plentiful and cheap! 2/ 4 usd one way to pub street and the ride is fun.
The hotel offers a comfortable and peaceful retreat in Siem Reap and is excellent value for money.
I almost lost my wallet!
Basically it’s clean and good is good. I love the noodles very much!
Indeed, more important, what amazed me is that, I almost lost my wallet and the staff, such as Bunthoeun, Niroday, Thylin, Chivleang, Mony, Sreyroth and Meas helped me to find the contact of the grab driver. luckily, the driver was able to be contacted and I got my wallet back!
By the time I was waiting, they also gave me water because I was so exhausted and tired! So i would highly recommend this resort because of their service!
Thank you for the superb arrangement!
