Hotel Reviews
"HOSPITALITY PLUS"
Colud not ask for much more in a hotel. We travelled as part of group, our check in was very efficient. Large spotless room with great bathroom. Pool and gardens were lovely and well maintained. Good location only a $2. Tuk Tuk ride to central markets, Pub street and most attractions. As lovely as the hotel in the most impressive thing about it was the personnell. From the front desk to restaurant and cafe staff, concierge and doorman the service was both friendly and impeccable. Our needs were not only met but in many cases anticipated. Well done
"Great hotel"
One of the best hotels we've stayed at. Great location amazing service. Nothing is too much trouble. The pool area is a godsend when its 35 most days. The market sere very close just hop on a tuk tuk outside the hotel. Very close to temples and the sightseeing. Would desinitelyrecommend staying here.
Room Tip: A room with a balcony facing the pool.
"Very Good Base for Visiting Temples"
We like to explore local towns by foot when possible instead of being holed up in a remote resort. We choose to stay at Sokha Angkor because it was within walking distance of the town and central market and also close to the temples.
We arranged the hotel to pick up us at the airport. It was 15USD which is more than a tuk tuk but we didn't want to bother trying to get a taxi with our bages. We had not arranged a guide during our stay, however, the hotel was very accommodating in arranging one for us within an hour of our arrival. They work with the official guides - who you get is a crap shoot. We didn't really like our guide for various reasons but tha is not the hotels fault. Other guests had official guides as

After a previous stay at the Sokha in Siem Reap, decided to return to the same hotel...very pleasantly surprised to find the service and staff just as good as it was on my firs visit . Emmitt, the charismatic GM, and staff were all responsible for again a most enjoyable visit. The hotel is walking distance from market area and night life yet far enough for a peaceful retreat. Definitely try the Japanese restaurant and sweets in the lobby bar--top tip! All sweets asr half price after 17:00. Best bargain in twon!!
Thank you for making a business trip a enjoyable visit...
Room Tip: The pool view is very nice and adds to the charm.
"Perfect haven"
I stayed at the Sokha for 5 nights in August with my 3 kids aged 7, 12 & 14. Every staff member was welcoming and helpful. The room was specious, even with a rollaway bed, and clean. Furnishing although not shiny and new was adequate. Minor glitch was that the bathroom lock was proken. The free wifi was very useful esp. With 3 templed-out kids in need of a webbie fix! Ditto pool which we had practically all to ourselves. We did not eat in the hotel as we were keen to try the numerous cafes and restaurants round town. Buffet breakfast was included and the spread quite adequate. Croissants were notably flakey n fresh although coffee n tea was the usual indeterminate stuff of many hotel buffet breakfast offerings. All in all
