“"Excellent services, helpful staff and great location"”
I have a great stay in Sokha Angkor Resort!
***Check in procedure: quick and professional
***Room: spacious with really comfortable king bed, I could sleep very well after long trip in Angkor Wat. Free wifi with high speed satisfied me as well.
***Buffet breakfast: various and huge buffet (I do love the cakes there). The chefs there were so friendly, staff always smile and they are always ready to serve you.
***Services: just asked them for the ironer and they sent to my room immediately! all the staff are friendly and willing to help you any times, from the front desk, concierge to the doorman...
***Location: only 10 minute walking to pub street!
I would recommend this to all my friends going to
“Great hotel and location”
Family of 4: 2 adults/2 late teenagers stayed over Chinese New Year. All aspects of hotel were great: rooms (although beds a bit hard), free Wifi, staff, food (huge buffet breakfast & dinner), swimming pool (salt-water and a bit cold on your first dip!), location, local information, friendly Tuk-Tuk drivers outside and a wonderful SPA! We enjoyed the free 15-minute foot massage each - while we waited for adjoining rooms to be made-up, so much so that we also booked a 1-hour Khmer body massage (US$23). Tough on the legs, but lovely - especially after a whole day walking around temples! The Irish Bar was closed for refurbishment, but we went out to Pub Street every night anyway. Really: a great hotel

Our bedroom was on the second floor (I think there were only 4 or 5 floors) directly overlooking the outdoor pool area, which was beautifully lit up at night, and had a lovely terrace with table and chairs. The outdoor pool was quiet and attractively laid out with plenty of sun loungers and parasols, waiter service for drinks and snacks, abundant towels and good facilities for showering/changing. After days of getting up at the crack of dawn to tour etc it was so nice to have a chance to spend a

In Siem Reap you have a big choice of hotels in each category, obviously the result of the tourism boom, but if you are looking for a relaxing nice place then this is the one to go. I really liked their lobby, it is so nicely decorated and even though there are guests arriving and leaving all the time, somehow it felt very calm and relaxing. A big advantage of the hotel is that they are issuing entrance tickets to the temples (the only hotel in the town) and if you are not staying here, then you need to queue quite long in the morning at the ticket office of the city. Our Deluxe room was nicely decorated in local style, did not like the view but it doesn’t really matter as you are out the whole day anyway. Breakfast was
