Hotel Reviews
Beautiful
We stayed here while visiting angkor wat and all the local temples.
This was splurge for us as we decided to treat ourselves during our visit.
The room was amazing and the staff was beyond accommodating and lovely.
Everything is done in USD here and you should have about $40 in $1 bills. The front desk staff is prepared to change money for you if needed. Locals will also NOT accept any bills that have tiny rips or have been crumpled. I think there is a lot of counterfeiting going on locally so they are extra cautious.
The pool is amazing. And a great spot to cool off and enjoy some rays or shade in the heat. The waterfalls are spectacular and it's big enough to swim
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff
I attended a week-long meeting at this hotel and everything was fantastic. It has a great breakfast, very friendly staff, lovely rooms, beautiful pool area, and convenient location. I would definitively stay here again if I return to Siem Reap.
Wonderful hotel
The Sokha hotel offers large and well-appointed rooms with a local flair. Location is excellent - near the town center and with easy access to the temples. Rooms have wood details and floors and are well-appointed. Best rooms overlook the courtyard and pool. The pool is spectacular. Service is terrific and friendly. The restaurant offers a great breakfast - lots of options and choice. Highly recommend a tuk tuk ride through the city - hotel is happy to organize.
Amazing
Great hotel, great staff, spacious, clean and airy, friendly bar, close location of temples and downtown at the same time, we have a great time, magic. The calm and locations of this great hotel worth.
Perfect stay at town centre
We spent two nights in the Sokha during a 16-days trip in Cambodia and Vietnam (8 hotels). There is nothing to criticize in this hotel, except the lack of individual reading lights above the beds. Excellent service, friendly and welcoming staff, very rich breakfast buffet. It is recommended to book rooms with garden/pool view (difference about 20 USD/night) as they have balconies and they don’t overlook a busy street.
