Hotel Reviews
Great base for temple touring
The outstanding amenity in this comfortable hotel is its super swimming pool in a lovely garden setting. There is also a very good spa.
The concierge staff are very helpful. Tuk-tuks with honest and reliable drivers are always on hand ( 1 US dollar to go downtown which is lively at night) and about 20 dollars a day to go around the 2 main temple routes which in my opinion is far and away the most enjoyable way of doing it. The Chanrey House downtown is a very good restaurant.
Excellent experience
Staff are nice and kind
I could say everything was perfect during my stay. The hotel is a bit old, but clean and comfortable. The pool looks so cool, but I had no time enjoying it. I went to a Japanese restaurant in the hotel and the food was delicious too. If I visit Cambodia, I will definately stay at Sokha Angkor Resort once again.
A wonderful place to stay in Siem Reap.
The Sokha is a beautiful hotel designed with Khmer accents. It is set back from a busy road but still is very quiet, It is close to the night market and shops. It has beautiful gardens and a gorgeous pool area with a striking waterfall. The rooms are large and our room, room 404, had an oversized king bed while our bathroom had a separate shower and jacuzzi tub for 2. The room also provided 2 sets of bathrobes. The room was kept immaculate by the cleaning staff. Everyone we had contact with was friendly and courteous. The breakfast buffet was huge and kept fresh.
