Hotel Reviews
Stunning
My husband and I arrived here as part of our multi stay honeymoon on 24th January....what a wonderful and beautiful welcome we were given, the staff are exceptional at their jobs, very pleasant people and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautiful with a stunning pool area, the waterfall feature is amazing. The rooms are of a very generous size wth plenty of space for bags etc. The bathroom is very well equipped with a bath and separate walkin shower, aswell as a good sized dresser with every toiletry requirement you needed even down to a nail file! Breakfast is amazing with a huge selection of food to tempt even the fussiest of eaters! The location is perfect for exploring and the tuc tucs within the hotel grounds
More ⇓4 day stay with family
After inching through immigration at the airport for a sweaty hour and a half the Sokha Angkor Resort driver was still waiting for us, and with cool towels and water; good start!
We arrived at noon which is before the normal check-in time. However the check-in desk got creative and we ended up with an upgrade to a larger set of rooms on the 5th (top) floor; great start!
The resort is well located for quick tuk-tuk trips to town and provides drivers for longer trips to main attractions (Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm etc. all less than 40 minutes away). It provides a good sized pool and 3 on-site restaurants. We preferred the few minutes trip to town to eat and shop.
Breakfast was included and comfortably
Great setting in convenient location
The staff are really the star attraction at this hotel. Very attentive and always keen to help in any way they can. Particular kudos to Mr Socheat who sorted out some travel arrangements for us. The rooms are large and comfortable with all required amenities. The gym well equipped with a separate room for many treadmills which meant no waiting time. Terrific! the pool is a fantastic place to relax with a spectacular backdrop of waterfalls. The location near many bars and restaurants means in a just few minutes in a tuk tuk you can be in the middle of the action, and when done retreat back to the hotel for peace and serenity. A great place to stay as a base to explore around the region. More ⇓
Nice pool, great location, good value for high end
Close to the temples and to pub street. Our room overlooked the huge salt water pool, it was a bit dated & a very long walk to the room, but the bed was enormous and room was v clean. The staff was extremely professional and attentive. The buffets were top notch, ordering a la carte would take a long time. I think the staff were a bit too formal with suits and ties looking always so serious. The only issue we had would be coming home by tuk tuk as there are 2 Sohka hotels: this one and the convention centre one, so make sure to specify.
“Excellent Hotel!”
Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous swimming pool, gym and spa and close to the center.
We stayed in a room with pool view, nice comfortable bedding, clean and beautiful wooden furniture. Nice clean bathroom!
Delicious breakfast buffet with exotic fruits and excellent service! My favorite was the creamy yogurt (really delicious!) Fresh fruits and juices and the noodle soup made fresh with your choice of ingredients.
We were lucky to be there for the Chinese New Year! They had a special event, by the pool, to celebrate the new year with performances and dinner buffet. The decoration was amazing with Chinese lanterns, ice sculptures, colorful lights and typical music.
The staff is very helpful, professional and
